Visual Snow Syndrome: Rare Neurological Condition

On Christmas night, 2022, my vision suddenly went static. Lost in fear and confusion, I spent the night at urgent care looking for an answer. After extensive testing, all I received were confused looks from the doctors with no answer. I was then sent to specialist after specialist with no answers when finally neurology shed some light on my situation. A rare neurological condition called Visual Snow Syndrome persists in less than 2% of the population, a form of constant hallucination causing static vision with the eyes both open and closed. Visual snow can be present from birth or onset later in life and is in most cases, chronic. There is no cure for Visual Snow. Though my case is not as debilitating as others, I feel obligated to spread awareness so others don't have to accept this rare reality. Any donation will help make an impact towards research.
