Vital Fire fighting Equipment for Waterfall RFS

As you are all aware this summer we are primed for a very intense fire season which in fact has already been going for a few months already.
Living in the Shire we are surrounded by Bush & the National park & most of us have all experienced major bush fires.
The VOLUNTEERS of Waterfall bush fire brigade have been more than happy to attend many of these outer area fires away from there Jobs & Families protecting property & lives of complete strangers.
I recently found out that there is a lot of vital equipment ie (Proper Breathing apparatus) that is not just supplied to the RFS which really made me want to help out in some way & in a hurry.
Everyone has been affected lately by the thick smoke haze around the shire & there is no fires near here at the moment imagine how bad it would be on the front line???
I know it's a tough time of the year on everyone's Finances but if we all could find a few spare dollars to help these VOLUNTEERS get vital equipment to make there jobs safer & easier these funds could be used to potentially protect our property whilst we enjoy our holidays with our family  & friends.
