Contribute to the legacy of Baltimore and its community by assisting two filmmakers with finishing costs for their documentary exploring the life, teachings, and message of Baltimore's beloved Maria Broom.

A side of Baltimore seldom explored. Still dancing at 75, Maria Broom, has lived many lives. From training Oprah Winfrey at WJZ to leading children in meditation with an ancient fire as the center piece. Maria Broom's life is a testimony to the beauty that comes when one embraces their true purpose and resists the status quo.

Our hope is that this film will impact its viewers in a way much like Maria has impacted those with whom she has crossed paths. By capturing this way of healing-as-being, the film will function as a salve, a possible remedy for the pain and perplexities of our times. It will urge the audience to consider how they are living their lives and the reasons why.

Fundraising:

We have been in production on this film since March 2020! We have finally stepped into post-production. We are working with an amazing editor to tell the story of Maria's life and share her invaluable lessons with the world.
