Vivian Snyder's Alzheimer's Care

Dear Family, Friends and All other lovely people who like to help others;
I’m raising money to help with care expenses for my beloved cousin (more like my sister) Vivian Snyder.
Vivian was diagnosed with early-onset Alzheimer’s disease in 2015 at only 49 years old, and her disease is now severe, requiring 24/7 care and help with all things in her daily life.
Vivan is in the severe/late stages of Alzheimer’s disease. Like many families that have experienced this illness, it was met by ours with confusion, and reluctance to accept its grip on Vivian If you know anything about Alzheimer’s, you may know that it is progressive, and there is no cure, so there is not much we can do to slow its progress or change her current condition.
Within the last month, Vivian has been experiencing hallucinations, cannot recognize us, will not eat, cries 12 hours a day, and is combative. She cannot be left alone for even a minute and needs around the clock care. Her dementia and confusion are so strong at times, we are concerned for her safety, as she is acting out and confronting loved ones. You know what a loving, kind, and blissful soul Viv was, and so it is clear the disease has a stronghold on her.
She was evicted from Westwind's Memory Care because of her aggressive behaviors towards staff and residents. Her husband Bob and her children Alyssa and Jeremy are finding themself in a cycle of hospital trips, heavily medicating her to be calm, and refusal of basic needs. Skilled nursing homes in Santa Cruz are refusing her because they have heard of her behaviors, they can’t have her at home because care would easily cost 15k a month and she doesn’t let Bob and Alyssa take care of her. The family trying to find a safe place for Vivian to live in dignity and comfort. They need our family, friends, and community help with finding the right path for her.
The disease has taken away all she's lived for. I just had to do something to help. Alzheimer’s care, as you may already know, is not covered by traditional medical insurance, so I hope you will help me give Vivian’s family a financial hand with these expenses.
