Vivi Pizzeria Fire Recovery Fund
As many of you know there was a fire in the building that occupies Vivi Pizzeria, Patterson Cellars and Gorman Winery in the early morning hours on Friday, July 2nd. We ask that you keep our friends at Vivi Pizzeria in your thoughts as they will not be able to open at this time. Patterson Cellars and Gorman Winery have reopened as the fire left their establishments operable and largely untouched.
Woodinville Wine Country is sharing this community fundraiser in hopes to assist Vivi’s staff with lost wages during this difficult time. Owners, Tanya Fraioli and Giuseppe Forte, are devastated that the fire has affected a vast majority of their dining room, but are more concerned for their employees during this time. As Washington state just reopened (June 30th), all of Vivi Pizzeria's staff was brought back to manage higher guest activity. Vivi Pizzeria will undergo construction and repairs for the next few months which will leave their employees without employment.
Although they do have insurance - insurance does not cover everything. This fundraiser aims to fund lost wages and any other expenses above what insurance does not cover.
Tanya hopes to keep all of her staff on standby while construction takes place. If you are able, please consider making a donation to their team members' lost wages here. Vivi Pizzeria is a wonderful, family owned business in our community and we hope to see them return to business soon.
With love and gratitude,
Amber Schmitt, Executive Director at Woodinville Wine Country
