As you may know, Viv Gilheany was recently diagnosed with ALS, a nervous system disease that weakens muscles and impacts physical function. Although treatment can help, there is no known cure.

With the support of her loving family and friends, Viv has begun this battle. There are, however, many unknowns and many unanticipated expenses that will be needed for her care. This GoFundMe is intended to provide any possible assistance that can be used toward what is needed for her care. Whether it’s a ramp for the house, a new bed, or gas to transport to doctor appointments, the family’s goal is to keep Viv in her home and as comfortable as possible.

ALS is still a mystery to a lot of us - again, so many unknowns. Many of us who love the Gilheany family want to help, but don’t know how. Any amount is a help and we thank you for your consideration and gift.
