Vivian Woo

Hi, my name is Stanley Louie, the godfather of Kimberly and Kyle Woo. Kimberly (19) is currently a second year college student majoring in psychology. She has aspirations to transfer from community college to a 4-year university, and is perseverant in fulfilling her educational goals. Kyle (17) is in grade 11 at Troy High School and will be undergoing college applications this fall in hopes of majoring in Computer Science after high school. I grew up knowing Edward, their late dad, since birth and was later entrusted with the honor of being their godfather by him and his wife, Vivian. Vivian was diagnosed with her cancer in late 2016 and fought a long and courageous fight to make it to the top 5-7% of survivors at the 6-year mark. Kimberly and Kyle too fought to assist their mom while maintaining as much balance in their social and school life. Now with Vivian's recent passing due to stage 4 colon and liver cancer, Kimberly and Kyle are now adapting to a more independent lifestyle than ever before. This GoFundMe is made for those who wish to offer support in Kimberly and Kyle’s future endeavors, and to help keep them on their feet during these turbulent times.
