The Viviana Grace DeSoto Legacy Fund

Viviana Grace DeSoto was born on November 10, 2022. Her name - Viviana Grace - means “God’s gift of Life.” She truly was our miracle baby. Vivi was a beautiful, smart, lively, serious, funny, independent, joyful and adventurous child who was full of life and brought joy to everyone she met.

Viviana loved music, dancing, climbing, playing ball, dogs, the beach, swimming, swinging, playing in the sand at Rotary Park, watching Miss Rachel, Barney, and Annie, and she never wanted to be without her pink “Mimi” blanket.

Simply put, Vivi loved life.

Her love and admiration for her “Mama,” “Dada” and “Chichi” was transparent to all. She loved combing her hair with her Mama and morning walks with her Dada. But most of all, she adored her older brothers and they adored her. They taught her to dance and throw balls, how to color and jump on the trampoline, and so many other important things. Her favorite words were “Whoa” and “Wow!”

We will never understand why the Lord took Viviana too soon… our minds can’t comprehend the reality we find ourselves in, our hearts are broken, and the pits in our stomach seem to have no bottom. But, we still believe God is sovereign.

Vivi was our gift from God and He blessed us for 17 months with our angel. Our family is eternally grateful for each and every second of her life on earth, and now she is His angel and we look forward to seeing our Vivi in heaven when that day comes. Until then, our beautiful butterfly will flutter everyday in our hearts and memories.

These funds will be used to honor Vivi’s legacy through donations to local organizations chosen at a later date to make a positive impact.
