Vivvie's Car Died—Need Your Help!

Hi, I'm Vivvie.

I need to replace my car! The engine very abruptly died about a month after I spent close to $500 getting it back up and running with a brand new battery, oil, headlights, etc. and now my girlfriend and I are having to rely on extremely unreliable public transportation in an unsafe area. Last time we had to take the bus somewhere we almost got stabbed.

Both of us are only working part time and struggling to make ends meet which makes it very difficult to save for a new car, which is why I've turned to GoFundMe. We're saving what we can and I'm planning on selling my old car for parts once we get all of our stuff out of it, but we still need some help getting enough to buy at least a cheap used car. And I'd rather get one sooner than later for our own safety and wellbeing.
