The Biggest Fight , Krissy's 2nd cancer battle

Hi everyone! We are the Flohrs and we are fundraising for our dear friends; The Fischers. The picture above is the Fischer Family 5 years ago when Krissy kicked leukemias butt! Unfortunately, early last week Krissy was rushed by ambulance back to Rochester and they received the news that the dreaded "c" word has returned. This time, it is rectal cancer. Krissy has already had 2 procedures, several scans and today had a lung biopsy to check the severity of some nodules that were found on her lungs as well. This family has been a staple in fundraising for our community over the past 10+years. They have helped to organize several cancer benefits for family, friends and strangers, such as the local Play4ACure events. Krissy is unable to work at this time due to the severity of her condition. Household expenses, medical bills, travel expenses and more are already begining to pile up. We don't want this amazing family to ever feel like they are doing it all on their own. Let's show them some extra love and support and donate to this young local family who could desperately use it ! ( even if they refuse to ask! )

Update 8/22/23 - Today the Fischers received news that Krissy's lung nodules they biopsied are unfortunately, malignant. This means the cancer has spread to other parts of her body that are distant from the original site of her cancer. This is tough news for the family, but it does not change the treatment plan outside of some extra time recieving chemo and radiation. While this might be a longer fight, our girl has got this ! Cancer fight #2 has begun. She will be starting her treatments within the coming weeks and will still be unable to work. All donations are so appreciated, and will go to the cost of treatment, travel and household expenses while she is unable to work. Thank you!
