Hi my name is Aidan and I am 15 years old. Through Camps International and my school I have been given the opportunity to go on a four week expedition to Tanzania in summer 2019.
On this trip we will visit three different camps and will work on projects which will improve the lives of the local community, such as helping to build houses, school classrooms and installing new water facilities. As soon as I heard about the expedition in assembly I knew I wanted to be involved to help make a difference to this community.
The trip costs £3950, 36% of this (£1422) will be for actual project costs such as buying building materials, books and food for the community. I need to fund the expedition myself and I have a year to do it. I will be working and holding fundraising events to raise the money.
If you are also able to give a donation to help me reach my target this would really mean a lot and it would be great if you could also share my story with your friends and family.
