The DePasquales

Everyone in Dunkirk and the surrounding area has met or knows one of the DePasquales. Growing up, many of us have had our games umpired by Joe DePasquale or have seen Linda's smiling face throughout the town. If you happen to be one of the few people that haven't gotten to know them, you still probably know their children Jen and Eric, Jen's spouse Candice, or their beautiful grandkids; they have always been kind to everyone and would help anyone they encountered. Both of these amazing people have encountered some health issues recently, and I'm sure they could use some community support. Joe will be experiencing surgery later this week to remove very aggressive prostate cancer, which may require more treatments. He is also receiving double knee replacements early next year and will not have mobility for quite a while. Linda has recently been diagnosed with a benign tumor on her pancreas, and it spread to her liver. She will be going for treatments to help decrease the size until it hopefully goes away. They will both need to travel back and forth between Dunkirk and Buffalo for treatments and doctor's appointments, impacting their finances and causing missing work. Let’s all show them the love and support they have shown everyone throughout the years.
