Breast Cancer Fundraiser for Pam Reese

Hello Friends & Family,

Julia Crowley, Gale Carter & Myself are part of Pam’s Mary Kay family & we want to encourage and support her with this storm in her life. It was a routine (but 6 month overdue mammogram) that caught her cancer. The type is Invasive Ductal Carcinoma Grade 2 Stage 1 (AGGRESSIVE BUT CAUGHT EARLY) and DCIS. HR/PR+ HER-. She is like a lot of women that do not make sure they get the care that they need before taking care of everything else. Since, she has been a big encourager to women to be proactive in their health and wellness checkups. Being a self-employed business coach and mentor for women, she is already a FIGHTER and will kick cancer's butt!

It was in June she had the mammogram and then for the months following, it has been biopsies, MRI's Guided Ultrasounds, more biopsies, 3 surgeries to remove the aggressive tumor and next step is radiation treatment followed by 5-7 years of endocrine therapy with a lot of known side effects. Unfortunately as a veteran, her medical care and treatments are 100 miles away from her home.

Many of you have asked how you can help so we are collecting funds to help her with EVERYTHING to keep the obvious financial stressors down. She has extra expenses coming with hotels, gas, meals, managing her self-employment etc. or anything else she may need to allow her to focus on healing. She has a lot to go through in the months ahead, and we will all be here for her.
