Please Help Freya keep fighting
Donation protected
Freya is a 6 year old Bernese Mountain Dog.
She normally lives a wonderful life at Mischief Manor with her brothers Viggo (Bernese) and Tor (Frenchie). Mum Sally, dad Simon and the cats.
Two weeks ago she went off her food......for a bernese and especially Freya this is a big worry.
Her chest x-ray showed a mass and after seeing the Specialists at AAERC Anzac Highway she had a chest CT and 2 litres of fluid drained from her chest which helped her breathing ease.
She doesn’t have cancer as first suspected but has an abscess in her chest that is too close to her heart to operate.
Her parents who met through their love of Bernese Mountain Dogs are responsible owners and DO have pet insurance.
Sadly excellent 24 hour emergency care is expensive and their insurance money is fast running out.
We are desperately waiting for Freya to turn the corner and want to give her the very best chance.
She has a feeding tube in her stomach to keep her nutrition up, she has chest drains in to remove the fluid in her chest and is on strong antibiotics but needs more time.
Please if you can find it in your hearts to donate a little to help Simon get his best girl home and back to her favourite place in the world the beach we would be forever grateful.
