VLA sponsoring Triana Rec Center

Valley Leadership Academy, a non-profit, 501(c)(3), hybrid school in Huntsville, AL, would like to sponsor the students who attend after-school care at Triana Rec Center. We have partnered with Triana Rec center for the past year and a half, and we love being part of their team. Their director, Pierre Fletcher (who the kids affectionately call "Coach P") wants them to continue having a safe, fun place to go after school, but the recent implementation of a weekly fee could make that cost prohibitive for some. That's where you come in! Each child is assessed a fee of $25 per week, every week for after school care, and a bit more for full day or full week camps during school breaks. Our students, who volunteer to teach leadership classes at the Rec Center each week, also have to pay the $25 fee. We can help Coach P provide his extremely positive leadership, snacks, exercise, leadership training, weekly visits to the library, and a safe & comfortable place to do homework to these precious kiddos, with a couple of quick clicks.
