Help Out Chris Haynes

Hello, I am Valerie Walton and I have a friend, who is self employed like myself. He loves the Grateful Dead and the Beatles, is a compassionate carpenter with two great kids and he has had a terrible accident which will put him out of work for months. If you are in a position to donate a little, a little goes a long way if lots of us pitch in and could help drastically reduce the stress on this wonderful family. Below are the words posted by his partner on Facebook.
We are so grateful for our big community of caring, thoughtful, friends and family.
Even more grateful that this accident wasn't as bad as it could have been!
Im trying to get back to everyone who's called but we got a lot going on right now. So here's the update.
Chris had an accident at work Thursday where his ladder slid out from underneath him and he rode it down to the ground! He has no internal damage that we can tell. He didn't hit his head. He tried to land on all fours but landed on two points. He broke the top of his tibia in a few places and had a long surgery yesterday to repair his knee with two plates and some screws. He did ok. His arm is casted and broken waiting for a hand specialist Monday.
We are hoping he gets to come home this weekend and then go back for the wrist surgery as an outpatient.
If you're interested in talking or texting with Chris text me and I can help him with that later today....
In the meantime Chris is busy learning how to use his left hand and counting his blessings
