Mental Health for Everyone

Hello-

My name is Chandra Hoelsken. If you are reading this you probably already know me. You also probably know that I am someone who loves my career as a psychotherapist and are aware of my deep commitment to being part of the "solution". What you might not know is that I volunteer over 5 hours per week to clients that cannot afford therapy. I have volunteered every week since I was 17 years old, as a drug and alcohol counselor, therapist, social worker, and nutritionist. I am asking the people I know and love to help support the pro-bono therapy I do, because as we know the world needs therapy more than ever. We all hear about the "tragedy, politcs, and fear" that are happening. However, we often do not hear a lot about the love that we are all able and often give to one another as well as our community. I have heard a lot about people feeling life and our situation is hopeless. I know for a fact it is not hopeless because I see miracles everyday in my work. I really just wanted to give everyone I know a chance of being part of the solution.
