The "Leaving A Legacy" foundation is hosting a free benefit baseball camp for Jacob.
Jacob Moore, 6 yr. old son of Kim and JD Moore and the brother of 12 yr. old sister Kara was diagnosed in August 2015 with childhood cancer known as Neuroblastoma. Jacob has performed extensive cancer treatments at Duke, Children’s Hospital of Philadelphia, Memorial Sloan Kettering in NYC and UNC Children’s Hospital. Some of his treatments include many rounds of chemo therapy, double stem cell transplants, proton radiation and multiple immunotherapy along with surgeries to biopsy and remove the cancer tumors. Jacob and his family are currently coordinating efforts with Helen DeVos Children’s Hospital in Grand Rapids, MI for additional treatment that will hopefully someday cure Jacob from this dreadful disease.
The baseball camp is free of charge and is targeting under privileged youth. The camp will be held by current and ex-college and professional baseball players. If you would like to learn more or sign up, please click here .
100% of donations raised will be used to send Jacob on the dream trip of his choice and offset medical expenses.
