In memory of Angel Ledesma

On June 5th at only 20 years old, Angel lost her battle with addiction. She has fought the demons of this world since she was 11 years old, but she was a fighter. Angel's mom, Melissa has supported and loved her daughter hoping one day she could escape the hold drugs had on her. Angel went into a week-long detox on September 24, 2022. From there she was in several rehab facilities, then lived in a sober living home for one month. She came home to live with her mom in April where she celebrated six months drug-free. Angel was trying to get her life on track. Her beautiful smile was back. The color was back in her face. Two days before her death she met up with some friends and the rest is history. Melissa posted the message below the day Angel died.
"My daughter lost her battle with addiction tonight. I held her in my arms when she took her first breaths of life & I held her in my arms until she took her last breath. She was struggling for so long. I know she was tired. The kinda tired sleep doesn’t fix. If you or someone you know is struggling w/ addiction, please reach out. Help is available. It’s so hard, but it is possible. Harm reduction can make it better. Please if you are using please carry Narcan with you. Let your people know you have it.
The world feels different tonight. God speed"
Melissa works hard as a waitress but this has hit hard and not at a great time. Let us raise her with our love, and support, and help with Angel's final expenses. Thank you to anyone that has read this far.
