Vogelsang Family Fund

Hi, my name is Rachel Gausemeier, Sara's sister-in-law, and I am raising money on behalf of Taylor and Sara Vogelsang.

The Vogelsangs found out that their son, Brecken Tate, has a heart defect when Sara was 33 weeks along. As a result, Sara will deliver Brecken at Texas Children's Hospital in Houston, where they have the resources to help Brecken. After birth, they will see if his heart is strong enough to pump blood to the rest of his body, and if not, there is a chance that he will have to have open heart surgery a few hours or days after birth. This will hopefully be enough to stabilize his heart. However, there’s also a chance that his condition could significantly worsen.

Sara will have to move to Houston to be monitored and ready for delivery at the beginning of September. Because of this, she won't be able to work from the time she relocates to Houston, and potentially for months after Brecken is born.

All funds contributed will go towards living expenses, bills, and medical care for Sara and Brecken. Any amount of support would be greatly appreciated, as well as prayers for Taylor, Sara and Adeline as they prepare for the very long journey they have ahead.
