Voice For Vitale

Tax deductible
There has been no greater source of joy in American sports broadcasting during my lifetime than Dick Vitale. With wit, energy, class, and verbal daring, he has elevated the art beyond sport. He's rhapsody in Rupp, exultation in Assembly Hall. He's awesome, baby.

This past year, Dickie V. was diagnosed with cancer, and he is undergoing chemotherapy. His health struggles have temporarily limited his ability to speak. But even with these challenges, Dickie V. has continued to passionately raise funds for The V Foundation , a 501 (c)(3) whose goal is "victory over cancer."

As a sportscaster, I owe a great debt to Mr. Vitale. His joie de vivre helped give life to my own style. And, as the descendant of Italian immigrants myself, I owe him even more. He is an innovator whose boldness has and will continue to inspire many.

As Dick battles cancer, I want to dedicate my work in sports broadcasting work in 2022 to helping him further his life's work. As an artist, I will endeavor to bring the passion and energy that have been his hallmark for 40+ years on the sidelines. As a fundraiser, I will seek to raise $5,000 for The V Foundation.

Together, we can overcome the tragedy that befalls millions as a result of a cancer diagnosis. Please consider giving directly to The V Foundation as a tribute to one of the great sportscasters in American history. Become a #VoiceForV and create a better future for all.

Thank you,
Joey Zanaboni
