Voices Unveiled: A STORY DRIVE Anthology Film

Welcome to 'Voices Unveiled' (our current working title), our ambitious journey to expand the animated STORY DRIVE series into an enthralling short film anthology. Focusing on the LGBTQIA+ community, this project stitches together a collection of anonymous voicemails into a single, compelling narrative. Under the guidance of Marcelese Cooper , the STORY DRIVE has been a beacon for hidden stories to find their voice. Now with a larger team, we're channeling this spirit into a short film that brings these diverse narratives to life.

In our anthology short film, each anonymous voicemail is a vibrant thread in the vast quilt of LGBTQIA+ experiences, echoing with stories of struggles, triumphs, and raw truths. This film is a natural extension of the STORY DRIVE ethos, a platform where whispered, untold stories are transformed into a dynamic visual and emotional journey. For many of us on this project this is a chance to spread our wings and make something that speaks to a community we’re a part of, ultimately this is a celebration of diversity, an exploration of empathy, and a chance to showcase the stories that often remain in the shadows.

Funds raised will be channeled into the production of this short film and sustaining the resources needed to produce it; ensuring that our creative team has the necessary tools and is rewarded for their invaluable contributions. We're putting all our energy towards crowdfunding from this January to the end of June 2024, then we’ll be dedicating the rest of the year to animating 'Voices Unveiled.'
