Void Mutual Aid

I've started this campaign for my partner, Void, who is battling precancer and likely endometriosis while facing discrimination from an insurance company that refuses to cover his medical care due to his trans identity. His insurance has denied him any gender related medical care, including tests to see if any other problems come up from this.

He's in constant pain, dealing with nausea and anemia, and is unable to work many days. Despite these challenges, he remains a beacon of positivity. Now, he needs our help to cover his medical expenses and legal fees as he attempts to fight his insurance to cover necessary medical care.

I want to help him survive this whole situation. I want to give him hope and joy. He has brought so much positivity to so many people's lives and if I can give even a fraction of that back then I will. This is a long fight, but together, we can overcome this.

- What will be done with the funds in the case that the insurance changes their decision prior to surgery, insurance reimburses after the fact, the goal is exceeded, etc?

In the case that there are funds that do not need to be used for the listed costs, I will be utilizing the funds for other medical care, accessibility equipment, quality of life improvements, etc. I have other medical needs that are less urgent but still important, and as such I just… Haven’t been able to address them yet.
