Volcom Lahaina Fire Relief

Aloha. I'm Alanna, the District Manager overseeing the Volcom stores throughout Hawaii. As a result of the tragic Lahaina Fires, many of my employees who work in our Volcom Front Street and Whaler's Village stores have lost their homes. They have no home to return to, no additional clothing aside from what they escaped in, food, or basic human necessities. Some of them have lost multiple homes within their family.

After hearing each of these employee's stories, it is clear there is an immense need to help them rebuild their lives. I've personally decided to put this together for my immediate group of employees who will be unable to manage all these additional costs without donated funds. My goal is to raise this money for our employees, and in some cases their immediate family members who they either lived with or also lost homes, to be used to begin their paths to recovery.

Specifically this money will go to:

-Locating temporary housing

-Purchasing lost clothing and toiletries

-Methods of transportation

-Purchasing food

All funds raised will be distributed from this fundraiser evenly and directly to my team members who were displaced by the fires.
