Volley For Unity - NC A&T VB - Boys & Girls Clubs

VOLLEY FOR UNITY 2021 - North Carolina A&T Volleyball and Elon University Volleyball are partnering together with our local Salvation Army Boys & Girls Clubs to bring awareness to the organization's impact in the community and its opportunities for volunteers, and also to provide financial assistance for the Boys & Girls Clubs as they engage and support our local youth.

The Boys & Girls Clubs' mission is "to inspire and enable ALL young people, especially those who need us the most, to realize their full potential as productive, responsible and caring citizens." The Clubs provide afterschool care in a safe, positive environment with opportunities for mentorship. The Clubs also offer summer program opportunities, as well as artistic and sports opportunities.

In our effort to ASSIST this local organization as they in turn ASSIST our local youth and families, we are asking our Aggie Family, Friends, and Fans to donate an amount of their choice for every ASSIST our NC A&T Volleyball team makes this weekend.

An ASSIST in volleyball is exactly like an ASSIST in other sports - the contact that leads into the next contact scoring a point. Aggie Volleyball is playing 2 MATCHES this weekend against NC Central and Mercer. So far in our 2021 fall season, our team is AVERAGING 45 ASSISTS PER MATCH. Feel free to donate a certain amount per ASSIST or donate a set amount of your choice. All funds will go directly to the Salvation Army Boys & Girls Clubs organization.
