Empower the Leaders of Tomorrow: Transforming Lives in Morocco

  Join us in empowering the next generation of leaders and changemakers through the Leaders of Tomorrow (L.O.T) Programme! We are taking 18 young people from London to Casablanca, Morocco, for a life-changing experience where they will develop leadership skills, engage in social action projects, and make a positive impact on local communities. Help us raise £14,000 to cover the remaining costs of this transformative journey!

Story:

The Leaders of Tomorrow (L.O.T) Programme, in partnership with Active Communities Network (ACN) and Somers Town Youth Centre, aims to invest in the potential of young individuals from the London Borough of Brent and Camden, aged 16- 18, helping them become social innovators, leaders, thinkers, and a powerful force for change in their communities and on a global platform.

We have already secured an in-kind donation of £10,000 from Active Communities Network, but we need your help to raise the remaining £14,000 to fully fund the programme.

Your generous support will enable 18 bright and motivated young people, along with five adult supervisors, to embark on a ten-day journey of social action and volunteering in the beautiful city of Casablanca, Morocco. Together, they will work with a Moroccan youth-based organisation, design and deliver creative solutions to local and global issues, and gain invaluable skills and experiences that will shape their futures as leaders.

Your contribution will cover:

- Travel expenses, including flights and airport transfers

- Accommodation with breakfast, lunch, and dinner

- Medical and travel insurance

- Programme materials to teach English and Maths

- Sports equipment to deliver physical activity sessions

- Field trips and entrance fees

- 24-hour supervision

- Accredited workshop sessions

- Refurbishment (painting and decorating) of a local centre for young people in Morocco

- AQA Duke of Edinburgh certificate for volunteering

In return, the young leaders will earn a certificate detailing their community service impact and leadership development. They will also benefit from ongoing coaching and mentoring throughout the programme.
