Volunteer Work in the Dominican Republic
Donation protected
This upcoming March, I hope to travel to the Dominican Republic! My school group will be spending time in both Santiago and Franco Bido (a rural coffee town) learning about the Dominican culture and serving small communities. We will even get to do a homestay while we’re in Franco Bido. The experience is bound to be transformative.
If you’d like to support me, here are a few ways that would help. The total cost is around $3200. You can make donations through this GoFundMe site, which will then be put towards the trip. You could also support me by sharing any travel tips that may be helpful for Caribbean travel. Of course, moral support would be helpful too, with notes of encouragement and prayers.
Any support is greatly appreciated, and I can’t wait to tell you more about the DR! Thanks for your help in advance, this experience wouldn’t be possible without my loved ones.
(For those of you who are asking, “Who is Cole Church?” I’m Shannon Goldrick’s and Chad Church’s son and John and Jackie Goldrick’s grandson, who hopes to have a brief international volunteer experience that mirrors their Peace Corps work in Africa.)
