Volunteering for The Lisa Kent Trust

Hi, my name is Mia and in November, I will be spending 2 weeks volunteering for The Lisa Kent Trust in The Gambia. The Lisa Kent Trust has established schools in one of the poorest countries in the world, providing high-quality education and future employment opportunities for over 600 students. Gambia has one of the highest illiteracy rates in the world - around 55%. By donating to The Lisa Kent Trust, better education and further advancement opportunities can be provided for the poorest of children and can enable more volunteers like myself to help out. During my 2 weeks, I will spend time working in a school, assisting children and staff, and there will also be volunteer opportunities in the medical centre. All of the money raised will support me in my volunteering by aiding my costs for accommodation, flights, vaccination/medications, and meals, as well as monetary donations to the charity. Any donation is highly appreciated.
