Volunteering in Ireland: Summer 2023

Hi! Our names are Miriam and Irene Sheehan, and we're looking for some help raising small funds for our farm volunteering summer in Ireland! We've been hoping to make this trip for many years, since we were children, and since both of us are entering a transitional phase of our life, this summer seemed like the best time.

Our goal is to experience the culture of our Irish heritage, learn new skills, make music with people, gain valuable experience as adult women, and strengthen our bond as sisters :)

Our plan is to craft our trip around the program Workaway, which offers volunteering and physical labor opportunities in return for room and board. At this point, all we would need assistance with are the plane tickets!

We were hesitant to reach out for help in this, since it is not strictly a charity, but we both believe in the value of new, broadening, difficult experiences, and believe that we can grow because of them.

Any help at all would be unbelievably appreciated!! We want to write about our trip, and keep people in the loop, as well!
