Volunteering to Help Save Sea Turtles in Sri Lanka
Donation protected
Hi! My name is Emma and I am going to be taking part in the Sea turtle Conservation project in Sri Lanka, I will be spending three weeks working at Akruala beach ( where over 15,000 turtle eggs are collected!),with The Mighty Roar local team to help protect and look after everything to do with turtles. This may include night beach patrols, guarding nesting turtle eggs, releasing baby turtles, educating the local community about the importance of sea turtles and the environment and the list goes on and on. When I am not helping the turtles the Mighty Roar gives you the opportunity to provide service with childcare and teaching programs during my time in Sri Lanka
The Mighty Roar is an organisation that provides help all over the world, not just in Sri Lanka, providing many different volunteering paths to go down, such as wildlife, childcare, teaching, medical, etc in a variety of different places.
Having the opportunity to help with such an important crisis has always been so important to me, not only because of my love of sea turtles but also because of my love for nature. The funds raised will be going towards the conservation (The Mighty Roar) in order to help grow and support such an incredible charity.
Any donation big or small will be greatly appreciated, Thank you so much!
