Nonpartisan Fact-checks and News Analysis

As you may know, I started my independent Twitter journalism effort in 2016, to connect the dots in a way the mainstream media wasn't: By adding relevant context, developing a bigger picture, and bringing a perspective professional journalists sometimes overlook in their quest for ratings, or to appease advertisers and sponsors who pay their salaries through advertising.
You may also know that I was one of the earliest "Twitter journalists" examining Trump-Russia campaign ties, money laundering by likes of Manafort, Kushner family business scandals and the conflicts of interest they bring to domestic and foreign policy issues. I’ve tracked how dark money and special interest groups launder their agenda through policy advisers and "think tanks" and sometimes even through partisan journalists.
In January 2020, I repeatedly flagged the emerging coronavirus crisis emanating from Wuhan. Analyzing news reports from China and Iran, I predicted that a tsunami of coronavirus cases was going to slam into Europe and US, and that global economies could collapse in the coming months.
With your support, I will continue to surface issues related to domestic and foreign policies that often get overlooked when the media is chasing the same distraction, and strive to ensure that the debate returns to healthcare, public health, the environment, infrastructure, affordable housing, poverty, and national security, while shining a light on the conflicts of interests that undermine our democracy.
If you've enjoyed my contributions, and have learned something new, please consider a small donation to support this work (and if you've supported in the past, thank you!). I will be looking to scale out the effort by adding more researchers and sources, and do this without becoming beholden to corporate donors and sponsors.
Yes, a podcast is still in the works; but unlike many podcasts that make money by partnering with companies and industries and interest groups - which means they can't then forcefully criticize these alliances - my podcast aims to offer straight up, honest analysis, and with your support, it will be sponsor- and ad-free.
And I do hope that you continue to subscribe to my Twitter journalism (turn notifications on for my tweets so you don't miss the important stuff!), and listen to the podcast, and share the analysis with others, and just as importantly, continue to engage and provide feedback.
Thank you for supporting independent journalism!
Sincerely,
