Volunteers GAA 100 Hour Relay 2024
Donation protected
This is the fifth 100 Hour Relay we are running for local charities having raised over €30,000 in the past four years. We are overwhelmed with the support we receive every year and are overjoyed to be doing it for another fantastic cause again this year - an upgrade of the Sensory Room in Kennedy Park School.
The school principal, Colm Gallagher, has the following message in support of this year's Relay:
"We are delighted that St John’s Volunteers GAA Club are doing their fifth annual 100 Hour Relay in aid of Kennedy Park NS this year. The money raised over the June Bank holiday weekend will go a long way towards the upgrading of our sensory room in the school. This room is a great asset for the school and the upgrade will benefit many children in the school.
A sensory room is a designated area within the school which can support a student’s sensory preferences and needs. It is a space which aims to provide students with the individualised sensory input they need to self-regulate, so they can be better prepared for learning and interacting with others and is a fantastic resource to have in our school."
We are really looking forward to another fantastic Relay - please support if you can - every little really does help!!!
