VOSH Mission to Guatemala

Hello friends!

This October I am going to Jalpatuga Guatemala on my first mission trip to offer FREE eye care to people in need.

I and 15 others (4 ophthalmologists, 2 additional optometrists, 5 nurses, and 4 volunteers) will be in Guatemala for a week, from October 8 to 15.

Our goal is to assist at least 800 patients.

This entire trip is out of pocket for me, so any donation is greatly appreciated and goes exclusively to travel costs.

If we pass my fundraising goal, all extra donations will go directly towards my mission trip partners: Volunteer Optometric Services to Humanity (VOSH), Haven in Sight, and Eye for God Ministries.

That isn’t the only way you can help!

The luxury of having good eyesight is something we often take for granted. If you have old glasses lying around, please send them my way! I will be lugging suitcases stuffed with glasses to the brim on my trip.

You’d be surprised, but that old pair of dust-collecting sunglasses can change someone’s life.
