Paydro, Peter, Pete, PD, or Pira is what I go by. These are the names my family and friends call me, although they have many choice words they often use to refer to me, but I'll keep it rated "E" for everyone.

A little about me: I am married to my best friend Amber, who has kept with our vows to each other, especially through the sickness part. We have 4 children (son and daughter in-law included), an ornery 11 month old grand daughter, and another grand daughter in the oven. I have worked as a public servant for 911 almost 10 years. My 2 favorite hobbies are Sport Fishing and BBQing.

The reason for this fundraiser is simple... "I Need Your Help". You can say I need your vote. So if you are able to help, please do so. If you aren't able to help monetarily, at least help me in sharing this request. Even if it's by spamming that one person that irritates you. Keep spamming them and let me know. Once they help, I'll put in a good word for them and will ask you to stop spamming.

Seriously though, this isn't easy for me. I had friends suggest I do this so they could shoulder some of my burden. My prideful self says I can do this on my own, but I'd be lying. My coping mechanism is an attempt at humor, so bare with me. I'll also try to not be all over the place, it's hard for me right now. As for why I need your help. I'll explain...

In the past couple of weeks I experienced 2 strokes. Contrary to what my mind wants me to think or feel, I am not the same as I was before these strokes. After having been admitted twice to the hospital, I ended up admitted to inpatient rehabilitation, but that isn't going to be enough. I am also needing out patient therapy. I require Speech, Occupational, and Physical Therapy.

Therapy along with medications, housing, bills, transportation, and other living expenses are quickly stacking up, so again I am in need of your help.

As a man I feel weak and a little ashamed, but I have decide to swallow my pride and reach out to you. The strokes took a lot from me, but fell short of taking it all. There are still many things I want to do, places to go, I want to finish my bachelors in Fish and Wildlife, I want to laugh and smile with family and friends, but most of all I want to be there with my family... I want to play with my grand kids. Even if it means putting on a tu-tu or wearing a moo-moo right after rehab. Just to see them smile.

Please help me smile and bring others smiles!
