The November 7th special election is a watershed moment for the Flagstaff community. Please help Flagstaff Community First win in November by donating to the campaign. The vitality and character of the community of Flagstaff is under threat by Northern Arizona Healthcare’s (NAH) scheme to vacate the current hospital and build a mega-development near Ft. Tuthill.
Flagstaff Community First is a grassroots citizens’ group up against a multi-million dollar corporation. This is a David vs. Goliath campaign–only in this case, Goliath has hundreds of times more money than David. NAH has unlimited funds for television and radio ads, direct mailings, push polls, and text messages.
Flagstaff Community First needs your support! $5, $15, $50, $500 - no contribution is too small or too big! Money raised through this platform goes directly to the Political Action Committee bank account and every contribution will help us cover our outreach to Flagstaff voters.
**ALL DONORS contributing over $100 are required to be listed by name in our campaign finance report.**
NAH should stick with its 2019 “New Era Strategic Plan” plan to renovate the current hospital and upgrade its outpatient services throughout Flagstaff. That plan would have built new urgent care facilities around Flagstaff and in nearby towns to bring services closer to our citizens and take pressure off the FMC Emergency Department. That’s the plan that makes the most sense in today’s healthcare environment and that will really benefit our community.
Why Vote NO?
- Flagstaff’s hospital belongs on the hill, surrounded by our vibrant medical community and accessible to the majority of Flagstaff residents.
- A careful analysis reveals that we don’t actually need a new hospital!
- NAH does not have the financial capacity to build a new hospital and redevelop the vacated campus!
- The cost to taxpayers is hefty!
Once we win this election, NAH and the community can work together to chart a path forward.
