I'm running for the 2023 King position on the Fiesta Especial Royal Court and I NEED YOUR HELP!

I'm running to make a difference in my local community for individuals with disabilities. My campaign runs from August 27th through December 2nd. Your donation to my campaign will help me demonstrate how individuals with disabilities can successfully hold leadership positions and contribute to the San Antonio community.

Being a member of the Fiesta Especial Royal Court, I will experience unique opportunities to

* participate in a program that develops leadership and life skills,

* be in a position of leadership and role modeling to his peers,

* interact with dignitaries,

* Participate in TV interviews,

* visit schools and organizations to increase awareness for individuals with disabilities.

During my reign, I will represent the community of individuals with disabilities during one of the most celebrated times of the year in San Antonio... Fiesta. Fiesta is San Antonio's biggest "Party with a Purpose." It is a time when the city celebrates its history, culture and vast diversity.

HOW MY CAMPAIGN SUPPORTS OUR COMMUNITY:

This year, I have selected The Arc of San Antonio as my benefitting organization. The Arc of San Antonio was founded in 1954 by parents who believed their children with IDD deserved more – to be included in their communities and to pursue fulfillment and happiness like everyone else. Since then, The Arc has evolved with the changing needs and issues of people with disabilities and their families.

The other 60% will go to help underwrite the costs of special education classes in and around San Antonio to attend Fiesta Especial® Celebration Day, a one-day community instruction program during Fiesta®. 100% of each donation goes to help individuals with disabilities in our community. 100% of each donation goes to enable individuals with disabilities in our community. The Fiesta Especial® Royal Court is a leadership and life skills development program that provides a unique, fun and exciting environment for individuals to work on communication, socialization, leadership, self-advocating, problem-solving and planning skill sets.
