Vovee Johnston(Vaughn); My mother, unexpectedly passed away on Saturday July 29th, 2023.

Still can’t believe this is real life. My mother, my best friend, my muse, my biggest supporter. My mom was truly one of the good ones. She was only 52 years young and deserved to live life longer. She always put everyone else first and had a heart of gold. She was no doubt the rock to our family. Life is truly unfair and way too short.

My mother spent some brief time in and out of the hospital before her passing and numerous hospital bills have already starting racking up. She leaves behind her husband, Andy Johnston, of 30 years. And he’s now having to go from a double income family to a single unexpectedly. Hopital bills alone have already totaled over 100k and it’s just the beginning. Planning a funeral is just putting my dad further into debt as this was such an unexpected life changing event.

Its going to be a long road to recover as my mother touched so many lives. Truly ANYTHING helps and is greatly appreciated to help my family out during this time of need.

A visitation will be held from 4-6 PM Thursday, August 3rd, 2023 at Brown and Sons Funeral Home & Crematory 5624 26th St W Bradenton, FL 34207. Celebration of life to follow at 6PM.
