Vox Needs Surgery: Help Us Save Him

We met our vet bills thanks to so many incredible supporters - but very sadly, the emergency team was not able to save Vox. We already miss him so much. Thank all of you again from the bottom of our broken hearts! Your outpouring of love is so healing.

Update Friday: VOX IS GOING INTO SURGERY TODAY...

Nothing visible showed up on partial Scan nor X-rays, Yay!

But we don't know 100% til they open him. The surgeon feels confident he can remove the large mass, but we won't know til he does it. Hopefully it's just on the spleen.

Still they wanted me to say goodbye in case.

Vi came with me if they needed a blood donor.

PLEASE PRAY ALL DAY TODAY! Now we wait...

On Tuesday we at Hilltown Sleddogs got terrible news: our sweet, beautiful, loyal boy Vox is very sick. He has a mass on his spleen, and needs a splenectomy ASAP. This is a very expensive surgery: $7,000-$10,000. We are fundraising at the high end to try to cover all costs including aftercare. (*Update, bill is already at $8700)
