Reaching Out to Get Help Relocating

Hi there.

 

My name is Kayla. I'm a writer and artist, and as the artwork suggests, I'm reaching out in the only way I know how and hoping that someone out there reaches back. My mother and I have to be out of our current residence before 2021 ends, but we have nowhere to go. We've been trying to help ourselves, but we haven't had luck landing a new job yet and we feel like we're drowning.

 

We still have expenses we need to cover, such as fuel, internet, phone, groceries, etc. We also need to scrape up enough money to get a place to live and cover all the expenses associated with moving, including renting a moving truck. The relocation expenses are the main reason I set such a high goal.

 

We're actively applying to jobs, but with the deadline looming for us to leave and no responses from employers yet, it's become clear that we need help so we don't end up homeless. Any support would mean the world to us.

 

If you can't donate but you have a job opening or you know of someone who is hiring remotely, please let us know. There's also much we need to get rid of to lighten our load, including antiques and household furnishings, so if you'd like to purchase something we have, please let us know what you're looking for and we'll see if we have it. What we don't sell and can't keep will be donated.
