For Phoebe - Oxford Survivor
Donation protected
My name is Naomi, cousin to a survivor of the Oxford school shooting.
On November 30th, Oxford High School in Michigan experienced a school shooting. 4 have died, 7 others were injured. At age 14, Phoebe was among the first victims shot, experiencing pain and trauma no child ever should.
She was shot critically in the chest and neck. Thankfully, a friend kept Phoebe out of harm's way, holding her, praying with her, and putting compressions on Phoebe's wounds to stop the bleeding until paramedics could arrive. Phoebe sustained serious injuries that required immediate surgery, after which she was put on a ventilator until stable.
Through it all, her mom says Phoebe "has been the strongest, bravest, most epic human. She is a fighter."
This fundraiser is intended to raise money for Phoebe and her family to help cover expenses related to this tragedy, Phoebe's recovery, and any lasting impacts of this trauma. All money contributed goes directly to the family (Phoebe's mom Sandy is the beneficiary).
Please consider donating and/or sharing to help this beautiful family. And please keep them in your prayers.
