Adopt a Firefighter - Alameda County

With all of our success offering donations to our local health care workers throughout the pandemic, we, as a community, are now faced with a new hurdle in the Northern California fires. 
We are asking for donations that will go directly to funding meals for the Fremont Fire Department workers and first responders. We offer healthy and vegetarian meal options at $13/meal. *Poke Parlor will donate an extra meal for every 5 meals received.*

Poke Parlor wants to support our community during this health/economic crisis. We are asking for donations that will go directly to funding meals for East Bay health care workers and first responders. We offer healthy and vegetarian meal options at $13/meal. Our initial goal is $130 for 10 meals to a chosen recipient organization, but intend to raise much more than that in hopes to grow this into many catering orders during the Bay Area Shelter in Place Mandate for community workers from all different fields and departments.

Individuals donating may vote on what organization and department they would like to see the meals donated to.  We will then randomly choose a recipient or multiple recipients from the votes of our donors. We will determine the catering date, preferred meal options, and number of meals based on the preference of the recipient organization.

We will post regular updates on the recipients and their orders through our Gofundme, Instagram, and Facebook pages.

Ahi tuna marinaded in house soy sauce with soy ginger, red onions, cucumbers, and edamame.
Served with recipient's choice of up to 2 sides.
 
Salmon Platter
Scottish salmon marinaded in sriracha cream with citrus ponzu, red onions, cucumbers, and edamame.
Served with recipient's choice of up to 2 sides.

Bbq Chicken Platters
With green onion and furikake (sesame-seaweed seasoning).
Served with recipient's choice of up to 2 sides.

Veggie Platter
Tofu, avocado, seaweed salad, your choice of vegetables, roasted sesame, citrus ponzu sauce, and sesame seeds over recipients choice of base.

UPDATE! 4/3/2020
Thank you so much for all the donations that have come in so far. We are incredibly grateful.
We're scheduled to make our first delivery on April 6th to San Leandro Hospital's ER Department. With the extra donations that we have recently received the past few days, we plan to deliver meals to other departments of the hospital as well. Our goal is to implement this to other hospitals in our county. There is still time to donate to our cause!
