Please help family with funeral expenses.

Hello, my name is Sherry and I am trying to help Darrell's family raise money for his funeral expenses.

On 1/24/23, the world lost an amazing boy. Darrell W. Irons. He was one of the kindest people I have met in a long time. Darrell had such a bright future ahead of him.

Darrell loved his family and was such a great big brother. His younger brother has special medical needs and Darrell was always so gentle with him. Darrell would play with my grandson who was only 5 yrs old and Darrell would be very nurturing with him. Darrell was going to make a difference in this world!

In the summer of 2021 Darrell went in to the hospital for a ostomy reversal. 2 days later while still in the hospital a nurse went to check on him and he had no vitals. They brought him back but he suffered a traumatic brain injury from lack of oxygen since they did not know how long he went without vitals. He spent many months in the hospital and we hoped we would see signs of "the old Darrell". There were little glimpses or moments that had us hopeful.

This past week he had some health issues and on Tuesday morning he stopped breathing.

His family has dealt with so much in the last year and a half. His stepfather had a aortic dissection and had to have heart surgery and go out on disability. His little brother has very extensive medical routines everyday.

His mom (Ashley), is such a rockstar when it comes to taking care of their needs and she never complained. Always had a smile and thankful for any help she did receive.

The funeral expenses are very high. We were trying to get a casket from a foundation but each one I have contacted has not worked out.

Darrell has sat quietly for the last year and a half and he deserves to have a celebration and be remembered.

If anybody can help it would be greatly appreciated.
