HELP MARVIN

Dear friends,

I would like to share the situation our family has been going through.

My son Marvin and I have shared a fight with cancer over the past several years. In 2016, at 62 years old, I came out of remission after battling cancer. And in 2020, I received the devastating diagnosis of Rhabdomyosarcoma in my 12-year-old son's spine. My son Marvin began treatment at Texas Children's Hospital in 2021. Over the course of four years, he has gone through multiple chemotherapy treatments, radiation, and surgeries, isolating him from any kind of social circle.

With the hope of restarting his teenage life and with many plans on the horizon, 3 months post-treatment, we conducted routine studies to make sure that everything was still fine. However, we received heartbreaking news: Cancer relapsed, which took us by surprise. This time the disease returned more aggressive than before, greatly limiting the chances of recovery.

Today, I ask that we join in prayer for my son who is going through an incredible hardship. And if possible, I would greatly appreciate your financial support. It is not easy for me to realize that we need external support to get through these moments. I believe that God acts in mysterious ways, which is why I decided to create this GoFundMe account. Your financial support will help me better support my son and provide him with better quality of life in this difficult time.
