We're heading to Worlds!

These kids are proof that hard work, grit, and sheer determination pay off. At the Southern New England VEX Regionals, their 2 days of competition were mixed with both frustration and success. And while they were eliminated during quarter-finals, out of the 100 teams that competed, both groups had done such incredible work that one was recognized with the AMAZE Award for strong and consistent performance through matches and skills, and the other received the THINK Award for the most effective and consistent use of coding techniques and programming design solutions to solve the game challenge. It was these awards which qualified them to compete at the VEX World Championship in April. Look out Dallas…. they’re headed your way!

Since the game was announced last spring, these students have put in long hours week over week - and for the past month have given up their weekends and all of their free time to earn their spots to compete on the world stage.

Their hard work has paid off - this is an incredible opportunity for them to meet and compete with the best teams from around the globe!

We are looking to raise money to help fund their trip there to compete, as each is responsible for their own travel, lodging and meals.
