Dearest Friends, Family, and Visitors to our page:
2017 was the year from Hell, to say the least. It all started when my mom lost her job of 13 years in February and ended with us finding out that my dad has terminal cancer at the end of December. Anyone that knows me knows that I am not a fan of asking for anyone’s help, but in this case, it is for my dad and I don’t want to disappoint him. Dad was diagnosed with Stage IV Pancreatic Cancer that has metastasized into his lungs. With chemotherapy we may have him for 10 months to two years if we are lucky. That being said, my mom is still unemployed and my dad has not been able to work much due to doctor’s appointments stemming back to August. I know that many of you are strapped for cash yourselves, but anything you can do to give my dad some peace of mind before he goes would be greatly appreciated. He has worked hard all of his life and I don’t want the remainder of his time to be clouded with fear about what is going to happen to my mom, myself and my brother. If you know my dad, you know that he would give anything to anyone in need, even if it were the shirt from his back. He has owned his own garage my entire life and has always done his best to provide for his family, it would mean so much to me to be able to take some of this weight off of his shoulders. If you are unable to contribute financially, please share this post to anyone and everyone you can think of. Dad starts his first dose of chemotherapy on 1/15/18; if you are a praying person, please pray that he has minimal side effects. Thank you all for considering us and helping in any way you can. We love you all.
