Lindsey Strong

Lindsey is a beautiful person inside and out! She has given so much to so many people. She is a paramedic for Lake Station Fire Department. As a paramedic, Lindsey often provides care for patients on their worst days. Now Lindsey is facing some incredibly difficult days of her own. Last year, she was diagnosed with Stage 3 breast cancer. She has undergone chemotherapy, radiation, and a double mastectomy. She completed her first round of treatments only to find that her cancer had spread to other organs and bones. She is now faced with stage 4 cancer. She has started chemotherapy again and will potentially start a trial in Chicago depending on how she responds to her current treatment.

Please consider donating whatever you can to Lindsey and her husband Brian as they continue to navigate this. They have had such a great attitude and fighting spirit through all of this. We want to take some of the financial burden off of them so they can continue to focus on Lindsey’s battle.
