In Memory of Heather

Rotary and our community lost a bright, shining star this week with the passing of our friend, Heather Gottfried. As we mourn Heather, our Rotary Club of Naperville-After Dark has been seeking ways to honor her memory and support her 15 year old daughter, Aspen. If you have lost a loved one, you may be aware of the challenges of accessing finances for necessary expenses immediately following a death, as the legal processes must take place. As most of you know, Heather was a single parent. We are raising funds to provide for the immediate and urgent needs of Aspen and the Gottfried household. Any remaining funds will be placed in trust for the care and future education of Aspen.

 

Heather was always giving to others. We will miss her smile and her laugh, her always reliable shoulder to lean on and her supportive presence. Heather always saw the best in others. Now it is our turn to support Heather and to honor her by giving generously.
