Table for Two
Donation protected
It has recently been circulating on Facebook that a few Quinnipiac students went to TGIFridays on Saturday, December 12. Their server was supposed to clock out and go home to her daughter, but agreed to stay and take the table. After staying a significant amount of time longer to wait on them and missing putting her daughter to bed, the students skipped out on the tab. This means that the waitress had to lose 3% of her tips for the night. This is money that could have been used for food, clothes and gifts for her daughter. Therefore, we are trying to raise money to pay for the tab and give her what is rightfully hers. The money will be given to the waitress and we will also be making a gift basket for her and her daughter. If you would rather donate a card or a gift instead, you can contact Katie Benedito at [phone redacted]. We want to do this by Christmas so anything you could give would be greatly appreciated! Thank you and Happy Holidays!
UPDATE: Within less than an hour of being posted, we reach our original goal of $250! THANK YOU SO MUCH TO EVERYONE WHO DONATED!!! We are going to keep the page up and still encourage everyone to donate and help make this familys holiday a little bit better.
UPDATE AGAIN: Since we have raised almost $500 IN LESS THAT 5 HOURS we decided to raise the goal again! This will be closed at 3:30 on Tuesday so we can give the waitress the money on Friday. Thank you so much to all who have donated and please keep sharing! Thank you so much.
