2022 - Bike Ride for VTN
"Cycling helps me unwind; it helps me breathe. I am riding for my brothers and sisters who did not come home with me, and those who did but are forever changed by war. I am riding for my wife, my daughter, and the families of every soldier out there. They are the real heroes. " - Former US Army Sergeant Jesse Jones (Tegh Singh)
This is the third year I'm riding to support Veterans Transition Network (VTN) as they support transitioning service members. I'll be riding approximately 90km outside of Calgary on November 12th - after Remembrance Day - to keep the conversation going about Veterans and mental health supports. Without VTN, many service members like myself – who returned from Iraq and Afghanistan with Operational Stress Injuries (PTSD) - would not have the practical tools to overcome the challenges of this unique trauma.

About Veterans Transition Network: Our unique group-based Veterans Transition Program (VTP) gives Vets a place to help each other work through post-military barriers and transfer their military career strengths to the civilian world. Backed by 20 years of research, the VTP has helped over 950 Veterans overcome PTSD, plan for their futures, reintegrate into communities and rebuild relationships with spouses, families, and children.
On behalf of my family and veterans all over Canada, thank you for your support. We rely on these programs to rebuild our lives with you - our families, communities, and workplaces.
