Destiny Grooms Memorial Fund

Destiny Grooms was one of the most beautiful souls I have ever met. I had the pleasure of calling her one of my basketball players, student, and friend. She would always light up a room when she entered, help a fellow friend or a complete stranger, she was one of those people that did everything with her full heart. She was taken from us too early but at 25 I can say that she has touched so many lives, inspired so many people, and gave hope to those who had none. 

Funeral plans are still being arranged, and any updates regarding locations and times will be posted here and on Facebook.

As you are all aware, what has happened is beyond comprehension and everyone is still in shock. Understandably her family is struggling to cope, so I am stepping in to help with organizing Destiny’s Funeral costs.

We have already had numerous emails, texts and messages from people asking how to help, so this campaign has been created as a way to keep everyone up-to-date with plans, and also offer a place for messages and donations to be left
